Hey, I’m Alex!
I’m a freelance social media producer and writer based in Brooklyn, New York. With over five years of experience in writing—both in print and online—I contribute branded content articles to Well+Good, Hunker, and Livestrong.com. From Sephora to Target to Athleta (among other fashion, food, home, lifestyle, and beauty brands), I work to bring these brands’ stories to life—while creating serviceable and entertaining content for readers on-site—all through the authoritative editorial lens of the different publications.
When I’m not writing, I’m producing social media videos—primarily for TikTok and Snapchat—for DotDash Meredith, where I’ve worked to grow the Southern Living Magazine TikTok community to over 500,000 followers in the span of four months, as well as producing high-quality organic and sponsored social media content on my personal channels.
Writing, video-making, and social-media strategizing are all (a few!) of my favorites things, and I hope we can work on some cool content together soon.
